Comments: Administrative Notes

First Person Singular!'s been a long time coming and we're delighted to see it happening in our lifetime. Glad you've finally mastered the "editorial we" (and all this time I thought you were using the "Royal We"). Proud of ya, kid :-) Congratulations and welcome back to the real world!

Oh, God, no -- the 'Royal/Imperial We' is capitalized, I think.

That said, though, I do realize writing in the plural may have seemed like a silly affectation. In some ways it certainly was, given that it's only me doing this. But without getting too much into it, I will say that I thought being able to *effortlessly* write in the plural was a valuable skill to pick up, and one that could someday come in handy. So, that's why I did it. But it was time for a switch.

You know, for practice's sake, you could start talking like Buffalo Bill from Silence Of The Lambs......"it puts the lotion on its skin...."
