Comments: And Now on to What REALLY Interests You

Last year was good. I was pulling for Barry, mostly because of the possible historical signifigance. This year? Crap, I won't even have time to watch a single game! :o(

But I'm simply pulling for Pudge.

Football reference: one of Randy Galloway's top five reasons why Emmitt Smith cried after Sunday's shameful performance was: "because Pudge is living Emmitt's dream."

As a diehard Red Sox fan living in a sea of Yankees ... I admit that the excitement building is intense and, actually, vaguely unpleasant. I will go to watch the game this evening with a bunch of other Red Sox fan-refugees ... It truly is tremendous. A tremendous moment!

And even better, the Sox won, 5-2.

But the Yanks have won Game 2. Woo Hoo!!!!! As a lifelong Yanks fan, I would be ok with things if the Cubs ended up winning it all. However, as far as I am concerned, I do not want to see the day the Red Sox win the WS. There is something that is fundamentally wrong with that concept.

Three words, Greg:

Reverse. The. Curse.
